Same here.

I do remember playing it a lot when it first came out but since then hardly touch it. If my HD wasn't so big I would uninstall it.

Playing CS most now. (and loadsa N64 and Snes games - cheers Embattle! ).

Hope it's original though, but it doesnt matter anyway due to the fact that a lot of other developers only use game engines made by ID ... strange but true.

Final Fantasy would only be excessive if each game was a sequel. Fortunately they only thing they have in common is the style of game. The stories are always completely unrelated and sometimes the game mechanics (magic/junctioning etc.) are totally different.

Just recently seen clips of ffx and it looks fucking awesome. I hope it makes it to the pc. (yes i know, wishful bloody thinking)

And the film was made by Square (who made the games) and written by the guy who wrote the stories for the games.

Yes, cos i like FF. There are a few negative points. Mainly to do with the story. (i'm talking about the games here) but the game is good enough to detract from them

The games involve little more than watching cut scenes and pressing A every five minutes, that and the impossibly hard and ludricously repetitive battle scenes.

I used to think the same, Dan. But once you work out how to play them, and get in to them.. they're fucking good games. And the fight bits arent hard at all if you know what you're doing. Such is life
