Q3 Demo issue

recently installed the 1.27h point release, as I've started to play online, albeit with dire pings...

Anyhow, I've just noticed that I can't play teh Demos any more, which means in turn that ?I cna't use the Frames reading from running demo0001 to evaluate any Graphics card tweaks. When I select the demo to play from teh menu, screen goes blank for a few seconds and then goes back to man menu. From console, no response.

Any ideas ?

To do a time demo and test your fps, do;

/cg_drawfps 1
/timedemo 1
/demo demo127
