Pah, i go away for a couple of days and you start talking about crap music (ok so you do it all the time!) PoM are utter shit, its just another band writing un-original music full of sugar hooks and lyrics about how bad life is so lots of repressed teenagers will buy it and "relate" to it. I'm glad to say i missed them at Leeds Festival, they were just finishing as i arrived. NOFX were probably the best band of the day, very entertaining. As for Incubus, someone said they rock live...hah...frontman just strutted his "sexeh bodeh" about for a while, sang all the songs tone perfect and didnt say much at all, may aswell have bought myself the album.

Should hopefully be going to see Queens of the Stone Age in a couple of weeks, now theres a good band!

:fluffle:

Off to see Fugazi in Manchester at the end of the month. Now THEY know how to write good lyrics and belt them out - they can't sing for shit which adds to the attraction.

I only own the argument which is definitely the more accesible of their albums. Good songs, fuckin scary voice :/

Kez, intelligent post there.

If you want glossy production fuck off and listen to Gareth Gates. I'm more interested in what someone has to actually SAY and say it with a passion - ie. lyrics that mean something, than if they can hold a note for 3 fucking hours like Whitney "who got da coke pass it meh" Houston.

Bah you if you don't get it then FOAD tbh its early and I'm hungover :)

Pearl Jam were great when we went to see them the problem was it was at the MEN Arena (Shite Sound) and we had seats (bad) that were verrrry high and wery far away (worse).

Saw Incubus in January they were really good, I had a great time loads of good atmos (wolverhampton Civiv rocks).

Last band I saw was Jimmy Eat World, I think that they were possibly my favourite. The band was rockin' and they didn't want to stop so they played for ages. We were at Nottingham Rock City so you can't get too far from the satge if you try.

Going to see Foo Fighters in November I'm looking forward to that, They're not my favourite band but I do like them and I think it'll be a big loud show which is always fun. Only thing I'm scared off is we have standing tickets at NEC and I may get trampled;)

Is it my imagination or have I heard a new Nirvana song on the radio in recent days?

Yeah, it's called You Know You're Right (I think)

And yes there is a new compilation album out soon. It will most probably be a shit waste of time.

Lostprophets at Brixton Academy last night: they were very, very good.
My ears are still ringing from the last time they'll ever play Shinobi vs Dragon Ninja.

Back to bed methinks.
