I'm sorry dolls but I agree with those two.

I cant help the feeling that they are backstreet boys with guitars.

Went to see Motorhead in about 1980, when they were still comparitively young. They were great, I loved em. Went to see loads of rock bands back then, and now most of them seem crap, but Motorhead I still like, even if i never play their records.

pfft kids.

Dead Kennedys 1983 London Astoria

Encore consisted of Holiday In Cambodia, Too Drunk To Fuck and California Uber Alles.

Very fucking apt songs for Mr Bush & co.

Dead Kennedys were indeed a fucking awesome group, one of my all time favourites . Never saw them live, which is a shame.

Best band I ever saw live was Divine Comedy. Not in a fucking awesome way, but Neil Hannon was funny as fuck and made the thousands-strong audience feel like we'd all just popped into his front room for an evening's entertainment.

Off to see Tenacious D again next month. \0/

I saw (well, heard) the Prodigy way back in 89'90'91. But I was far too innebriated to realise what shite they were.

At the time, it was fantastic (or was that the Doves). Saw them at Raindance, World Party, Insomnia etc. Along with the likes of Altern8, Homeboy hippy and funky dredd etc.

Ahh, those were the days. :(

I saw them open for Korn at the London Arena and the best part of PoMs act was when the got the whole crowd to chant.....

"Puddle of Mudd suck"
"Suck big dick"

Cos frankly there performance was piss poor, shame really because the album is good.

Bummer Damns. I picked up intergalactic sonic 7s and was plesantly surprised at how many of the tunes I liked (that I'd heard before but never known who performed them) were actually ash tracks..... there B sides suck though.

Best band i've ever seen live was Garbage. Electric Ballroom, Camden, shirley manson less far away than your head is from your screen at the mo :D

(P.S. cba to edit these 2 together into 1 post, so ner!)

Jane's Addiction at the Barrowlands was one my best concerts and as for the Dead Kennedy's I'll just make do with the live DVD. I don't know what but ol' Mr Biafra seems to have a darn sight more charisma that most front men these days....:( must be getting old I guess......

check out some of Biafra's spoken word stuff. The recording of where he goes nuts at Al Gore's Republican Party meeting is priceless.

Is it on the net somewhere as the company connection at the mo stops that sort of thing and if it is I'll grab it when I'm back at home in a week or two.

Pah, i go away for a couple of days and you start talking about crap music (ok so you do it all the time!) PoM are utter shit, its just another band writing un-original music full of sugar hooks and lyrics about how bad life is so lots of repressed teenagers will buy it and "relate" to it. I'm glad to say i missed them at Leeds Festival, they were just finishing as i arrived. NOFX were probably the best band of the day, very entertaining. As for Incubus, someone said they rock live...hah...frontman just strutted his "sexeh bodeh" about for a while, sang all the songs tone perfect and didnt say much at all, may aswell have bought myself the album.

Should hopefully be going to see Queens of the Stone Age in a couple of weeks, now theres a good band!

Ok, you saw them at a festival. Not exactly the same as seeing them as the headlining act. He did strut his sexeh bodeh but that just made it more entertaining ;)

Seriously, there was a lot more crowd interaction when i saw them live.

Anyways.... I wouldnt mind seeing the Queens live.

Saw Queens of the Stone Age. Quite amusing. The guitarist played the whole gig stark naked.
