definition of good to me would be those who stuck at it even when certain patches didnt suit and still gave as good as they got.... been nearly 1 1/2 to 2 years since NP actively ran on hib/pry would b interesting to see how they would do now... i still wouldnt put them in my top 5 prydwen of all time...

Hmm, not too much over 2 years ago at least, don't remember exact dates tho. I've been playing daoc for a little over 3 years and it took me a year to get merc to 50, uber as they used to be, so I've only been in rvr for ~2 years. I joined Avalanche when nearing rr5, and the rest of the guilds were active around that time aswell, so yes, they were active under 2 years ago.

They were active for a few days a number of weeks ago, I believe. Didn't do too badly, but it was basicly their mentality that sucked, or was at least different from most the active groups.

Thats because the shit you call RVR is all in one area and it ends up with 3+ fgs running about, making all the fights bump into each other

Whats wrong with having a portal keep in each of the realms?
Say Blend,Beno,Crim for Albs, Crachon, Berks and Nott for hibs and Bledmeer, Eras and Bolg for Mids

Should split up the zergs quite nicely

(Remember seeing Rigante, Kair's, Evita's, Rising Force, PE and Alaron's groups all running at same time in hadrians wall)

Uhm the shit i call RvR is all WE (Hib, Mid and Alb) are able/forced to produce atm.
Be my guest, organize Oriens zerg in something useful and siege Berks imo.
Ofc always better that back in days where there were no1 at all.

Surely you can't deny the guilds that Xcalibur put forward are strong RvR guilds (don't like calling them good guilds necessailry since RvR is not the only measure of that)?

I think the problem, as Belxavier was saying, is his failure to recognise some outstanding Alb guilds. It's always easier to name the good guilds of your own realm, because you have friends in them and you play with them, but you shouldn't let it blind you to the quality of others.

I think the basic issue here is what people consitute as a "good" group, quite clearly there are mixed opinions....if you mean realm rank, well then thats complete BS as anybody can get to a semi decent realm rank these days. I have on more then one occasion seen groups thrown together with low rr people and still go out, stick it to the enemy and make some good rp.

Do this a few nights a week for a while and grats you're rr8.

Having spent the majority of my time stealthed and not playing an awful lot of grp rvr I can't comment as much, but in the time that I have, I've seen tonnes of alb fg's out, and I see alot running when in the shadows. As for being "opted", well again this is down to the opinion of the person.

Again Hib bias though as Belo said, as again the times I have played grp rvr with warrior the few hib grps we meet seem to drop with relative ease in comparison to the alb fgs.

Quite clearly though, XxXxcallibur has conflicting views to everybody else, which is of course no problem, but don't expect to reach a conclusion because of this

word, pretty well summed up and maybe alb taken a knock atm, but then so have hibs and mids at times. Its transient and usually each realm gets a kick/kick's itself up proverbial and start running groups etc...imho ofc

I've played pryd almost continously since beta , and theres only ever been 2 hib guilds who truely "dominated" the 8v8 scene

U know that common knowledge is Mid got it "easy" against Hib, Hib got it "easy" against Alb, Alb got it "easy" agaist Mids; if played well ofc etc etc
