As of about a week ago the 10 point penalty will be delayed untill you stay up or go down. As if you go down you will get deducted next season if you stay up you are deducted this season and if that then puts you in the relegation zone you then go down.

That is wrong soze. There is a deadline. Any teams that went into administration before a certain date (think it was a couple of weeks ago) would get the penalty this season. After this date the penalty is carried over into next season.

Football League rules state that clubs in financial trouble that go into administration will be deducted 10 points as happened to League Two Darlington last month.

But clubs who go into administration after today's (26 March 2009) 1700 GMT deadline face having their 10-point deduction suspended.

If the club is relegated the points will be deducted from their tally at the start of next season but if the club stays up the 10 points will be taken off their final total.

The club would then go down if the 10-point deduction subsequently resulted in it slipping into a relegation place.

Its only Equador and Bolivia.. 2 teams which everyone else beats at their home turf so why bother ? And i don't think (might be wrong) that their players train at that altitude all year long ?

There was rules, La Paz was banned from hosting international matches because of the altitude. The ban was recinded though, not sure why.

Hahah, funny thing i just found out is that a few years back, Maradona supported the playing at high altitude and played a match there for former-Argentina players, winning 7-4. He said that if he could do it at age 47 then so could young and fit professionals.

Aye it brillant refereeing ...

step 1) Give a penalty which shouldnt be given. (note the players arm was by his side, and he was trying to move it behind his back) Referee in poor position to see it, ignores the fact that the linesman in a great position didnt give it.

step 2) Let the penalty be taken out of place - (why didnt he just put it on the goal line and tell him to just tap it in? )

Those are the rules and that is what happened, so no bad. Maybe the Ewood park groundsman shouldn't have made the spot so damned big eh?

maybe harsh, but with such awful refereeing throughout the entire game he dont actually deserve any benefit of the doubt.. he was awful and very inconsistant with his decisions.

Infact, the referee had more influence on that game then any single player on the pitch.

In fairness should of been 2-1 since i reckon that goal crossed the line. Not complaining though since we've been on the wrong end of those decisions fair too many times, lets hope we get the same retribution next game too.
