lol brilliant. Has one good freekick and he deserves it, plays pretty mediocre all season and not a word til he does a freekick :)

Mediocre yet he has scored 12 in 22 games this year in the premiership. He set himself standards that very few players can set and keep up the following year.

Aye looks like it tbh, he's the guy that makes them tick.

They have done really well considering their main goal scorer who always get 15+ has been out for so long as well.

Got to love Jose. And he will be back in England in the next 3 years, as the next united manager :)

Some united officials have stated Jose wont be united manager... simply because he doesnt understand the style of football that is required... Jose likes to base his teams on defense, whereas united are more offense minded.

Besides, if Jose wins Serie A, his next destination will be Real Madrid or Barcelona. He stated many times over that he wishes to win English, Italian and Spanish leagues. So he wont be returning to england i doubt till he done the spanish

Nevermind the officials, the Utd fans would never put up with his style of play end of.

Yeah he said he'll return to England and to Chelsea, but first he'll probably go La Liga and at some point manage Portugal too. I always thought it was kind of sad that Utd fans wanted a rival team's coach but there you go.

Sounds like what I've heard too :) Doubt he will get a RM/Barca job tho, they are (as united) far to offensively minded. Don't think for example Barca would like to have Jose :)

And I don't think United should write off Inter, Inter have an amazing strike force imo. Zlatan playing extremely well this year, and Adriano is almost starting to look like himself again. Will be interesting for sure :)

And booooooo for Liverpool getting 1-1 :( And double booooo for RM playing so well now :p

Martin O'Neill is the man most Mancunian reds want, failing that Moyes could do a job for us as well I feel. Both are disciplined and demand it from thier players but both can create that seige mentality when the pressure is on and are tactically astute. They are both like Fergie was in his younger years in many ways and I honestly think Fergie rates both so highly that they have a great shot at the job.

Former United players as the next manager? None of them are good enough in my opinion, they are good managers but they don't have all the tools required to be real winners.

Proper United fans are not taking Inter lightly at all, we know they are quality and very strong up front. We do believe if we play to our best we are the better side though, it is close but we do feel we have the edge. That counts for nothing though if we don't take it 100% seriously over both legs, Inter are very dangerous and deserve the upmost respect.

Dunno, but they beat my Liverpool team both home and away in FM2009! So they are bound to be good this year!

I found this Prem routinely boring dull drivel this season with some drab football, however the CCC has been absolute immense, the pinnacle of english football!

*this is not bias due to wolves being top of CCC.

The Villa squad for the CSKA away leg has been announced:

Aston Villa | News | Latest News | Latest News | UEFA Cup: Squad Announced

No Brad Friedel; no Gareth Barry; no Stan Petrov; No Ashley Young; No Gabby.

Looks like, as expected, we are going to concede the competition and go all out for a top four spot. If we fail to beat Stoke at the weekend after doing this in the UEFA I think the crowd could turn nasty.

Brave decision, but it makes us look amateurs for entering the inter-toto in the first place. Not happy.

Your squad is not big enough though, not worth risking embarrassment in both competitions. You may get lucky against CSKA, although I doubt it, they would beat you even if you played your first team, that away goal is worth too much.

It's all about money and experience anyway, had you not gone the inter-toto route, your players would not have had the experience of european football this season, and you would have lost out on lots of cash. Now you are at a stage where you might miss out on Champs League next season, even more money and stronger teams to gain experience against. Think O'Niel is being sensible and considering the growth of the team.
