Ive myself not been interested in HL2, or so i said ages ago when CS:S was released "Just buying Bronze for CS:S" i says...

Had a quick go and i seem to like HL2, dont go for the game like that myself, just enjoy a good multiplayer shootup. Upto the Helicopter at mo. yikes.

Can anyone help me, i'm stuck at the dam where i need to open the gates put the valve has been destroyed. There is an abundance of grenades so i think i need to throw it at something but no luck as of yet, how do i open the door?

to the right of the valve,on the other side of the fence are some barrels.Shoot them and they explode causing a girder to swing down and crash through the doors

I get to the bit where this bloody copter is chasing me. Ive come to a T-Junction and if I go right there are two ships blocking my way and if I go left there are closed doors. Where do I go??. Thanks!

ok, im stuck for the first time.

in the citadel, on the Looooooong corridor with the strider at the end.

killed everything, but there is a forcefield preventing me going further - any clues.

Pretty sure I remember that bit. You need to go through the forcefield on the left and to do that use the gravity gun - right click to "suck" the white energy ball out of the generator". It should power down the forcefield for a few secs enabling you to jump through and down to the next bit.

sometimes there are several energy balls in a ff generator - you need to get them all to power it down

That level is quite bugged as well, so if it doesn't work, restart it.

I had that problem. I used the grav gun to grab all the energy balls, but nothing happened. I eventually jumped off the ledge and went back and did it and it worked first time.

i'm stuck on when you ride the buggy you come to a big stone bridge, go under it up to a pier(sp?), go to a magnet lift and lift the buggy up on the pier... then i come to the bridge and there is a hole in it i try to jump over it but i dont get far enough

i just used the lifter to tip the bridge over, then i lifted the car to the other side of the bridge and walked over
