I was playing my ns in bg1 yesterday and I saw a couple of alb/scouts jumping onto the pillars at the end of the bridge. Is this cheating?

P.S Thanks to the troll thane who spotted them and nuked them off.

You can jump on them without using lag-tricks, screenshot-jumps etc so I really doubt its a cheat.

It's not a cheat. However by being on a place where others can't target or hit you is against the CoC and can result in suspension/banning. (This case melees can't touch but ranged can so doubt it's considered a bad thing :))

I also doubt it, since otherwise it would be cheating to stand inside a keep when defending it, since melee cant reach you ;)

Dont underestimate the feeling of fright some players get when big hammers start to land on you. :)

Standing on pillars is as old as the bgs. If it would be a bug exploit they would have taken away the possibility to climb them by now.

then send the stealther up

I always like the pillars since Infi's with see hidden can spot those bowmen and musician types just by standing close to the pillars at ground level. Then I just jump up and hit them without them even knowing its coming.

My Nastyman Infi's like those kills ....

Being in a bg keep your realm controls stops melee hitting you and being stealthed stops people selecting you, unless close enough, but they're not against the CoC. I don't see how standing on those, easy to jump up with just jump and forward, pillars can be a cheat in any way shape or form.

No :)

Actually its one of the daftest places to stand as you are easily visable and very easy to target, plus the only escape is to jump off and all around the bridge you are vulnerable to enemy, and untargetable to your mates/healers on the bridge :)

Killed many assassins/archers up those pillars ;)
