Sadly it does seem to be something effecting the shitty councils in the north more, rather than cut thier fat pensions and salaries they cut essential educational services.

I'm actually going to say something that's not popular(shocker), but kids shouldn't come absolute first. If you put your financial security over your kids, you're a moron 'cause it'll harm your kids in the long run.

First priority is to make enough income to secure the eats of the family, be it a move to another country or whatever the f*ck it is, the kids can handle it. They'll whine and stomp their feet, but they'll be fine. And that's just the initial thing, there's a lot more things that should go before a kid.

Think part of the problem is also parents who put their kids over everything, on a pedestal and treat them like little miracles.

I love lefty socialist, always with the personal abuse against people who have a different opinion. Well guess what mate, I pay to live in this country too! Meaning I'm allowed an opinion on how it shoud be run.

Do you know what really really annoys me, is people trying to shift the blame on their situation due to what family they were born into, there are amble opportunities out there, and do you know what you just have to go out there and do it. By the age of 18 I had already volunteered for a charity, helped at my local scouts, held a part time job and delivered papers daily for 6 years.

If you want to better yourself, better yourself, stop sitting around on your arse crying havoc that life is so unfair!

Who in their right mind can even suggest we go back to Labour? They honestly reduced this country to a laughing stock. It annoys me how everyone is supposed to have a 'right' to everything. No, not everyone should go to University, to come out with a degree in 'Media' and join the unemployed line with the rest of the pond life. No, not everyone should be taxed a stupid amount of money because they did well at school and bothered to get a decent job yada yada. Not just do a photography degree and expect big bucks in banking.

Why hate on bankers or anyone who favours the rich imo, Tax them more, watch them move out of the country and crush what little economy we actually have left. I don't want people to be poor obviously, but somebody needs to use their noodle and realise that nobody rich or poor likes to be taxed!

Well, you can sell the PS3 and the flatscreen TV plus cancel the broadband, spend the money on your kids and then legitimately claim to be poor once it is all gone. Those things are luxuries though, you can't have luxuries and be poor, truely poor anyway. Him not feeding and clothing his son properly is nothing more than a lifestyle choice, that is why I got so angry that the BBC were playing the violin for him. There are plenty of legit poor in this country, the BBC should have seeked them out instead but maybe their kids were not as good on camera as that little lad?

Bloke on this program was a right tool. What depressed me more than anything was the house. I've had to claim benefits a few times in life (left jobs to look after ill wife) but id never bring up children in a toilet like that. Like ppl have said he needs to grow a pair and set an example for his kids rather than whining.
