Chuka Umunna DO NOT BRING POLLS INTO YOUR SPEECH YOU DUMB CUNT. The polls said that Remain would win. TWAT.
Actually many didn’t and the final result was within the margin of error. They didn’t do a bad job tbh. It was more about people’s interpretation of them which went along the lines of ‘there’s a bit more polls showing a narrow remain win than ones showing a narrow leave win’ therefore remain will win. When they should have said ‘the polls show this is too close to call’.

Chuka Umunna is a cowardly cunt who ducked out of Labour Party leadership when it may well have been handed to him on a plate.

Then he sniped from the sidelines rather than accept the result, then buggered off with his mates.

He belongs nowhere near power. Emperors new clothes twat.

A lot more loyal to his party leader than Corbyn was to his predecessors. The hypocrisy of Corbyn’s wannabe commissars always makes me chuckle.

Yes. When he realised he wasn’t compatible with the party any more he fucked off instead of sniping from the sidelines for 30 years.

So not a 'reform from within' type of guy.

More a cowardly new-labour type...

Those pesky new labour types, winning elections and shit.
Until they were found out to actually be nu-tories, and warmongers to boot, before pushing the tories even further right?

(and losing)

Pretty sure that was the first priority of TiG. Start a war somewhere. I’ll find where they wrote it...

Think they just want to resurrect new labour.

You know, the party that oversaw growing inequality just like the tories did. Inequality that formed part of the basis of the disaffection that resulted in the shitstorm that we're in now.

Trying to bring back a failed model. Where's the "progression" in them?

Right now I'd take avoiding economic ruin.

If it comes at the cost of getting new labour back in I'm not sure.

Of course, I want the current absolute shower of shite out. But I think Blighty desparately needs a new alternative.

Quite amusing on a personal level that Labour whip their MPs vs a free house and still lose by a big margin

News just in, parliamentary researchers have uncovered ancient laws that the commons cat has the right to disolve brexit if he catches 5 mice on a moonless night.

Were not exactly selling democracy to the world here are we.

From what I can remember being plastered over the TV during the vote everyone was predicting that Remain was on course to WIN. Your memory may differ from mine. I also recall lots of news about how the fuck did the polls get it wrong. Maybe that was just in my head.

Polling techniques are fucked because of microtargeting, especially on single issue votes.

That is my point about that twat using polls in his commons speech. They are fucking pointless and a waste of time and effort.

Even with another election what will you get? Both main parties are equally split and equally useless, just in different ways, and I don't see much evidence of new thinking coming from anywhere else.

Well we would be in no worse a place than we already are. Our Parliament is a shambles. Reset the fucking lot.
