Talking to some of my gaming buds last night, they showed me The Division, looks pretty damn pimp.

This maybe the generation i drop from PC gaming mostly, life changes n all, using my macbook as a docked PC for dota and thats about it...!

I might get one to run alongside my PC, no way the wife is going to let me take the TV though. Decent excuse to upgrade the monitor to a 25ish inch!

My only complaint with the PS4 will be the analogue sticks are still totally in the wrong place, why they won't change it is anyone's guess.

Playing The Last of Us and I'm just thinking my thumbs shouldn't be forced in this position not a natural resting position.

I don't mind them really. My problem is that I have quite big hands to the whole pad feels a little small.

Have to agree. The left analogue is badly placed, so much so that with my hands my inputs are often slightly off. As a result I still use the d-pad for games like Gran Turismo, even though it makes me fractionally slower.

If you have a gaming PC there's really not much point in an Xbox imo, most exclusives are out on both

When was the last time you saw a Microsoft published xbox exclusive make it to the PC? Halo 2 and it's attempt to try to boost sales of Vista wasn't it? (which ended up to be a horrible waste of perfectly good money for them by the by)

So they don't like to port their exclusives to PC because it would directly impact their sales of consoles. Which is fucking amusing in it's irony considering their dominance on PC operating systems.. :D

Exclusives are going to be less frequent once xb1 and ps4 are out. They are very similar, it's mainly the associated services you need to code for that make up ports.
Unless sony or ms are paying you a shitload of money there is no reason not to have xb/ps4/pc versions of any next gen game.

Yes i know. Which is why i specifically said Microsoft published xbox exclusives.... :)

They want us to buy their console, not a new PC they won't make any money on.

MS doesn't port their games to PC for that reason alone.

Hardly a great loss though. I can't think of any exclusives that were worth owning the console over any other platform for.

Most quality games are cross platform because that is how they make the money. The odd in-house game here and there but I think Sony probably beat them in the exclusives area.
