Playing US vers from EU

Noticed this on sticky above and wondered if this is 100% correct regarding payments.

If I order the US version can I still play from the EU?

Yes, although in the initial months of the US release Blizzard are trying to dissuade people living in the EU from joining the US servers by insisting on Visa cards having an attached US address (not verified), this can probably be circumvented through use of gamecards however...

So if i order game as a US version i cant use credit card to pay?

Just wait for EU? Its most likely less than a month away.

Blizzard puts up the region specific servers for a reason you know..

Last I heard was they're releasing it in january/february 2005 if we're lucky - and that sounds reasonable since they have to translate the whole game into german and french. Oh, sorry, off-topic. I have no clue Castus

It should work to register an account with any VISA card and australian adress.
But euro people playing on US WoW are yet to see when the first payment is due (23rd december at first, give or take some days due to server instabilities where blizz gave players x days depended when u signed up)

Actually... you can't.... and you can play... its totally differs from card to card...
BUT!!! i counldn't play EVEN a VISA and aussie zip and adress... so if you feel like it... try your luck.... even if you cant' play the u.s version, blizzard has offerd buyers of the u.s version in eu, to convert thier game to the eu version...
