Playing DAoC while waiting for CU?

I can't. And last time i played on live i was a bit annoyed that even in groups everyone keeps running to his buffbot all times. And it makes points in lines with self buffs more valuable. I play on uthgard because there are no BBs and therefore people tend to play together and not using it as single player game with strange AI.

The only redeeming aspect, more groups. But, the thing with live, buffbots are good because if your shaman dies, your whole group isn't then without buffs. Makes fights alot more interesting.

Still, it doesn't take away from Uthgard that it becomes anti-casual friendly. That it'd take me over a month get to to 50 just seems bleh, especially as the grouping aspect was fun at one point but not anymore.

Don't see why fights are more interesting when dying has less consequences. It just removes "killing the buffer" as a valueable tactic. But i know, you will come up with "ohhh, but we can rezz and start our comeback!" and "poor mids have just one buffer" and so on. It may be right in your world, i still find the whole concept crazy.

People still complain about buffsbots? Come on, adapt and move on. There is hardly anything preventing people from using them anymore, like it used to be before.

Played on US with Fujiwara, Aurores and some other guys for a while this year.
But we just kept leveling up toons and never really got out to 8v8.

Heck, leveling is fun nowdays. Specially with a 3-4 man group.

Some of the guys i play set grp with on uthgard play rift aswell when the don't run. Been trying to get me there for ages but really i cba to start playing a new game before CU
