Played daoc to long?

Woke up this morning 7.30cet, had got like 2 hrs of sleep, and as u might know of when you just woke up your are kinda..weird..

ah well, my mother came in and woke me up, i thought she was a spiritmaster that needed my help cuz she thought i was a skald (this is true, i was like half awake half dreaming.) then i got into the shower, and when the water came down on me i was teleported to Odins Gate , AMG. At amg my mother (spiritmaster) was there once again, and she wanted my help again, i was tired and i wanted to sleep so i tricked her that i was exping, after like 5 mins in the shower i thought to myself, "hmm, i must be like level 4 now".


Maybe a month earlier when i'd gotten like 2hrs of sleep again and she woke me up, i though i was in Malmöhus, and she stood outside my room, but she couldnt come inside cuz Malmöhus is a dangerous area, so she got her level 50 character to come in get me, after i got out from my room she switched back to her lowerlevel character.



This makes me wonder, have i played to much daoc?

Please tell if you've had similar experienses, tho i doubt that anyone has

If I'm just waking up from the middle of a random dream (be it about DAoC or something I've read or something completely random) then of course I'm disoriented

It sounds like it lasts for quite some time in your case... (or you tried to wake up, failed, and slipped into another weirder dream)

The morning after my first night of DAoC I woke up trying to 'con' certain items to see if I could 'equip' them.

I was also afraid to leave the house because I didn't think I was a high enough level.

Good to see im not the only one with these symptoms, and i can tell you, after my first week of daoc i was like in another world when i went to bed, the real world didnt exist in my mind at that moment, once i was lost in Myrkwood while trying to sleep (was very tired).

Well I have dereamed about DAoC...but after you woke up...and you're mother a spiritmaster...hmmm a bit wierd yeh. Get more sleep and do something else than only play DAoC sometimes, I'm sure it will help

This is very sad, my girlfriend once ask me in bed in the middle of the night to give her more cover, in my sleepy daze i said "what do you expect i am fletching" moments later it sank in what i had said and i went to sleep very quietly feeling a complete twat.

Lucky the girlfriend saw the funny side of it.

For the past two weeks now, ever since I started going to Emain every night, I've dreamt about DAoC.

The one I remember most was when I was hiding under a bush because an archer was going to get me. My pet was too scared to do anything and was listening to it's portable minidisc player instead, so I used nearsight on the archer (Even though I was a sorcerer.) and stunned him (Even though I am a sorcerer.) and killed him (Even though I'm a sorcerer.). Then I felt REALLY bad because I had cheated and didn't want to get deleted so I ate the body to hide the evidence.

In Real Life, I was walking downstairs at work and glanced out the window at the building opposite and thought I saw a HUGE dragon on the roof.

I had a similar experience two nights past, but not with daoc. I played Medieval Total War all day and when i slept i had the weird dream that the Germans had invaded and taken half my lands. I was scared when i loaded my game yesterday

i once dreamed about having all my characters wiped. next thing i saw was that i was 4 chars to L50 solo. the world was empty. noone was in it. i was L1 and every single mob was black con (!). all the towns were empty (no NPC-s)

then i woke up and checked in daoc. 70 people in mid/exc at 4am GMT

thinking about it now i can definitly say i have had weird dreams about daoc.

Im only lvl 42 so havent done much RvR but managed once to go to emain with a load of albs.
That night i dreamed i was there again, but i could smell the air, feel the grass, see the middies running to bash us EEEEP!!!!!

I remember running back to MMG and gettin sandwiched coz the door wouldnt open lmao.

Another thing to, once on the television i heard about some weird cult that had a cleric running it, and i turned to my Girlfriend and said "do you think he can rez?" she slapped me across the head afterwards lol.

I woke up one morning and had to go to work as usual, but I could'nt go to work alone, I needed a group. It was too dangerous to go out of bed without a group I thought to myself. I could'nt find anyone else than my buddy that just a druid so we needed a pboaer.
