I always order form gameplay.com its superb. I ordered planetside yesterday at about 1pm and it arrived in this mornings post....its just downloading a patch now..can't wait to play

We don't know what it is actually introducing.. but they originally said they were going to have bombers, smaller troop carrier planes, platoons (3 squads = 30 people) and stuff. So we were kind of hoping that was what was coming in.. but not sure.

underwater levels. These will only be available in the new zones added in the expansion. There are a lot of special effects, like lighting and bubbles, that require the new zones. When underwater, players will always be swimming. There is no weighted walking. Swimming is 3-dimensional, and sometimes monsters above or below a player will be unfriendly. There is an underwater equivalent to horses, in the form of sharks. These will act just like horses, allows players to purchase rides from merchants. One of the areas which were shown in the demonstration was an old sunken ship which can be entered through a crack and explored. When the expansion goes live, there will be many nasty monsters in that area ready to take players out.

i dont know what it is... i couldnt physically bring myself to play hib in daoc either. i think im so masculin i've sort of ingested myself and become teh manz0r. i'd never even THINK about making a woman char in any game................ i mean i wouldnt buy a good game on say.. a console if the main char u had to play was a woman. like resident evil code veronica... u have to play a woman, i BOUGHT it, but only for how fit she is.

and playing as a pink armoured thing... its laaauuughable :/ i want to play someone that you could IMAGINE being feared in the game (even if they're not), but how could anyone possibly fear someone wearing pink armour???????? its beyond me.

again, i aint having a go at women.. i love women, im having a go at men that play hib/pinks.. HIENRICH THATS YOU

ITS HEEAAREEEE, came this morning, just patching it now..

i dunno... im considering being the TR.. its a shame, i'd love to be in ur guild definatly.. but....... i've always been set on playing TR since i started reading about the game

and a friend of mine is playing them too...... i might play them, i'll see how i get on with them, if i dont like them, or cant find an outfit etc i'll definatly come over to VS
