not wanting you to flip out or anything, but are you absolutely certain that there isn't a little bit of tick left in it? 'Cos if there is, it ain't never gonna heal. Take a pic of it for me, and let me have a look, I might be able to suggest a good solution.

I went to the doctors about four days after it first got removed because it was itching like mad and felt bruised under the skin, and he insisted there was nothing left in there and treated me like a bit of a numpty for worrying, so I'm sure there's nothing left. I think I just had a bit of an allergic reaction to it - had a sprawling red mark for a while (don't worry, not bulls eye shaped) and I think it may just become a scar.

Mmmm.... lumpy, bulbous, scar...

I would seriously recommend people don't get bitten by ticks.
