Perils of leading a raid

No. I don't need to. The points I make are extremely simple to understand, and I have conveyed them clearly. Everyone else understands them. You're the only one trying to make an argument where there doesnt need to be one. Please grow up.

In case you have a problem with this, here it is in Swedish !

Now drink your milk and eat your cookies. Sesame Street is about to start.

"Desire is one thing, but doesn't necessarily impart leadership abilities. I think they key word is tolerance - i.e. if someone is putting themselves up in the very visible position of a "leader", then it is so much more pleasant, and gives that person so much more confidence, if the people s/he leads are tolerant and patient."

Ok, so what you do mean is? The people should put demands on themselves to fit the leader, not complain/ask/wonder why the leader makes certain moves, not come with suggestions?

I don't agree on that. Leadership isn't dictatorship, imo. Leadership (in raids) is fristly seeing what people want. Organising a relicraid is doing that. However, people show up for a purpose, take the STRENGH relic and they are not after a regular RvsR trips. This meaning, people are here to take str-relics. Regardless, if plans are changed etc, you will loose people.

Aborting a raid, changing plans etc. Is not good leadership, atleast not in raids.

If you are so "kind" to explain things in swedish for me, why don't you explain the things I've wondered and not other insults/irrelevant information.

If I am looking for a fight? Can't say I do. However, what I want people to do is to have clear logics behind what they say/think, hence my questions.

Claiming a person who requires structure and clear logics in post as being immature, doesn't make sense in my world atleast.

You make some fair comments.

Tolerance - the point I'm making is that people should endeavour to support the leader rather than act in ways which may fragment solidarity. Leadership becomes fragmented when 20 people spam PM the leader with 20 different things on what should be done. The leader is not more important than the people nor the target. But you DO need a leader. People can either support him/her, leave the raid, or make constructive comments in a sensible manner.

Aborting / changing plans half way thru is not constructive, agree with you entirely.

I don't see where we disagree m8.

If people keep coming with suggestions, plans have probably been changed. If they come with questions (without anyone changing plans), they should be answered with calm and not yelled "STFU" at.
