Well yes, getting all excited about a porridge baga is a bit over the top, but sitll, i'm thinking it's just a general "i'm interested" thing. Just gets stuck on that old loop when you do it often enough.

Other things could be;

- He actually doesn't give a rats a*** what you say, just replies 'cause he wants to talk.
- He's a bit "overexcited" about everything. Just feel glad he doesn't want to have sex with you.
