1. I never got on the Half-Life bandwagon and never have played anything mre then the first level thingy in HL1.

More fool you then, you missed out big time. It stands up even to this day - I played it again prior to HL2's release. Still fab.

5. Half-Life has become more of a term for No-Life since it's been waited and hyped about more then the second coming of the big J.C.

Hardly, the first anyone seen of it was about 15 months ago - and if it hadn't been stolen we'd have seen it this time last year. Hype and no substance? Try DN4E or Daikatana. Or Doom 3 - good game, just not BRILLIANT.

6. Come on, the graphics ain't THAT great. Sure they look niff, but hardly anything world revolutionary.

No, they're not. But they do look really well though. And the model work is better than any game ever released. Including D3 and Farcry.

7. Gravity and rag-doll physics. Have't seen this much screaming about a useless feature in a game since they thought about making it illegal to kick a player in the groin in rugby.

Tosh - it's a fundemental feature of the game. You haven't played it I presume, so it's easy to see why you think this. Decent physics in this game makes things very interesting.

8. Valve website has more hits then the Paris Hilton video website.

9. Graviton gun whatnot...ok. So. This gun like, picks up things and...umm..throws them or...swings them around...yeah! Give this gun a f*cking nobel award.

It's as essential a tool in the second game as the crowbar was in the first.

Choose not to use protection and contract HIV then natural selection i'd say (not applicable to rape obviously); and shock news!, you can still contract HIV when you're married .

Not quite true, the theft didnt hinder the game much, it wasnt anywhere near feature complete at that time, Gabe Newell admitted that the release date was a bunch of arse.

Can't say I hate HL, just never played it really. Not when you have Quake, the better fps. As for fps with a storyline, there's always Mohaa or CoD.

And I don't even like fps games that much.

Aye I know Trebz0r, but we would still have seen it about a year ago if it hadn't been for the theft, just not on September 30th as was originally promised. Maybe in time for Chrimbo or just after New Year. Not 2 weeks ago.
