right:

graphics card is runnign at around 60 degrees
cpu is running at around 50 degrees

whole thing has been cleaned, compressed air'd, etc

cpu had heatsink cleaned and new thermal paste

and its still shutting off

so either its doing odd spiking temps, which im not sure , or something else might be causing it

any ideas from the monkey gallery ? :(

/edit

E6850 cpu
gtx 260 gfx card

both are within tolerance levels for temp apparently

Aye - worth looking at. Mine was fixed by getting a new PSU. What's yours rated at ?

new PSU went in today, 140 quid Corsair 850w modular, not whatever tacky branded shite was in there before

so far, so good, seems to be behaving itself now, ta folks !
