On the other hand I could try you with my SB, now that would be more fun I reckon......until you TS me that is. Seems I am screwed either way

Dunno bout you guys, but I see tons of potential new events with this duelling system. Would be awesome to have like big duelling events, and variations are almost endless. Who wouldn't compete in stuff like: casters staff duelling events, level 1 events, nekkid chickfight duelling, duelling with lvl 1 weapons, warrior shield-only duels, etc... I could go on for ages I guess... 
Tho we have to realize that the outcome of these fights isn't representative at all imo. Everyone has the benefit of knowing who he's fighting, and can focus on resists against the type of dmg opponents do, even completely neglect other resists etc...

Learn about duels before you start posting like this ;o
Some RA's (mythic haven't told us) will end the duel, my guess is IP, maybe FA, purge etc won't be allowed in duels.

Well, I no longer sympathise with Alb casters whining about SBs.
All of the SBs I've duelled were hopeless caster killers

kephan trashed me if i hit him more then twice it'd be much
kalgarn was close , very close to getting killed but had luck on his side
Bigade with 17 or sommat parry parries nearly all my styles whereas i with my 28+15 parry didnt get one parry nor evade off
dont think ive lost to an sb so far, if memory serves

Duelled 4 warriors now and beat 2.
Lost to Milkshake (troll warrior) - Got him to <5% hp
Beat Ucallme (Norse Warrior) - Won with >30% hp
Beat Lurikeen (Norse Warrior) - Won with >50% hp
Lost to Crush (Kobold Warrior) - Got her to <5% hp
Duelled a few thanes and found I lose more to Trolls than Norse, think its the weaponskill they got, 280 Str compared to my 240.
All in all having fun with duels, beating most Norse i meet, losing to trolls, which is weird. Most of the damage I do is from my insta spells. between 115 and 200 using pbaoe and insta DD respectively.
Hell I got Crush to 5% solely on spell damage, she blocked/parried every swing i made.

Mixed result in duel with my sb wining some good onces but must say i loose some aswell.
Iam a fast hitting but soft hitting kobold with 140 str so it's up to Mythic and my evade if I win a lot of times.
Sure looks funny wining a fight having 60 hp left and do 9 evades in a row and resist 2 dds.
Only kitten 1 time and still lost evuuul kephan bloked 4 stun styles
not that he was hiting me think 2 hits out of 10 but in the end his Dd DD aoe got to me.
Would like to see what different it would make if buffed in duel.

wow spell damage been increased in patch solid? or merely the effect of capped piety? and well done, nice to see your thane kicking some ass
Bizarrely my personal toughest opponent in duels so far has been aeternus, an elf champion! I really wasn't expecting that lol I figured celt champs would be tougher.. no other class seems to really come close to a champ, with the possible exception of NSes (also a surprise that)..
also dook, bear in mind, dueling a stealther is a lot different to meeting one out in the frontiers.. in a duel you know they're about to attack you and are completely prepared for it.. in frontiers most people can't remain so alert 100% of the time..
