patches and updates not installing!

when T2 came out bought the game got all the patches and updates as they came out.

T2 got deleted and i re-installed but now i cant install any of the patches!

got the first update to work but that is it!

only gets to 4% then says:

Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found.
No update done since file contents do not match.

any ideas would be nice.
ow im on windows 2000!

you should re download all the patches with the auto-updater

installing all the patches manually if the best option, auto update always f00ked my game

this has happened to me a few times, installed about 6 times so far

its worth taking a note of the old file name is it a . vl2 file etc

im guessing that the first patch that works is maybe the sierra autoupdater then the first game patch is failing, dunno if this will work for you but heres the pain in the ass method i use for installing T2

ok run the full install as normal from cd, then manually transfer the gamedata/main folder from the cd to the C:\dynamix....\gamedata\main folder

sometimes for me the original install will copy across all the right files but some may appear as 0kb in size or even very small 200kb when in fact the ones on the cd are 100000kb

then once this is done, try to use auto updater - first one will be the sierra update if this wont run then copy it from its location

_SierraUpdatePatch folder to the MAIN folder and run it from there , reboot and run auto updater again - this time you should d/l the first of the game patches and then repeat , hope this helps cus i know what a bitch T2 installs can be

• Update to the latest patch once files are passed as valid
