Patchday reminder

Because some people don't read the News I'll remind you all here that tomorrow is patchday!
The servers will come down at 7am CET tomorrow morning (which is 6am BST) and there will be no ingame warnings before hand. Therefore I'd strongly advise against playing after 6:45am as there's a good chance you could get booted out of the game whilst in the middle of something and your character would be rolled back to it's last saved position.

There will be news throughout the morning keeping you up do date with patching progress. You can use the downtime to patch your clients to the new version however I'd advise you not to actually log in (even if you see the servers are open) until you get an official reopening announcement from us.

[8-06-2006] Update operations in progress

The game servers are currently being updated to version 1.83 and the patch servers are already up and running.
If you took care of downloading the updates in advance, you can install them now by double clicking on the downloaded executable, then launch the patcher to download the last files (about 5MB).
If you didn't download the 1.83 files beforehand, you may launch the patcher which will install the whole update. Doing so will, of course, take longer.

We will publish another news to inform you when it is possible to log on, as soon as the tests are over and servers officially accessible.

We've actually just completed testing the English servers and are running some last minute checks on some other servers so we're looking good for an early afternoon re-opening.
