well, there where only 8 of us in odins, thats a fact, no getting around it. 8 = 1fg fyi.

Earlier, it was said by a SS member, you only encounterd us once if i remember correctly.

So.......sure.

btw, the smallest force we died to that night was 2ish fg. (about 16-20 ppl)

uhh, mate, I wasn't insulting you , I was saying yeah, the buffs in the patch might help, but any organized group can be more than worthy enough to put up a fight.

-edit-: the whole reason I posted it in the first place was that you were saying that you wouldn't have stood a chance before the patch, even with an organized group. Basically saying without the stuff mythic gave us, we're nothing. Obviously that's not true

I just had fun! I saw some NP cloaks and some other mids. Dunno how many just that the cloaks released and came back a few times. Some yellow and blue, some in other colors. Still it's pretty good killing any NP at all imo. I don't deny it. U play really well, so that is why it's more fun talking about u than others.
Let's see next time if we can do as well as we did.
Oh and LA are good too.
And SS is good too.
And xxx is good too.
We are all good. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose.
Now I need to sleep. My post soesn't make any sense at all.

One more thing. I still had fun and I think the Mids and Hibs had fun too, cus they kept coming back for us

Can't help thinking that some pride was dented on Thursday night...Nolby Pride perhaps?

Come on..you got pwned by similar numbers(some of whom were not even 45) and you don't like it. Neither would I. Just as I didn't like tonite when we returned minus a few peeps and didn't have our usual setup and got blasted back to our bind point. Its the game...deal with it.

Once our support classes logged on I had the best fight I have had in this game to date. In over 2 years, since the start of US beta, I have never been in a fight as thrilling as the one in Odin's earlier this evening. After 6-7 minutes of heartpounding action I was half health, OOP,OOE and screaming at an OOP cleric for heals. Alb's vs Hibs vs Mids, tooth and nail. My hands were actually shaking on the KB. That hasn't happened since my first RvR 2 years ago.

Odin's gate rocks!!!

NP takes pride in being one of the best guild so they indeed will not like it when someone says something unproperly about them? Atleast i think its like that. As far as i read here 1fg NP got owned by atleast 3 fg albs when SS killed them. So that isnt a real fair fight, so to claim that SS can take on NP cause off that fight is bullshit.

You were not there, so I don't think you have an idea of what you are talking about. No, there was not only 1 FG of Nolby Pride there, there was another Mid grp of non-NP that . And yes, the best fights (not all of them) we had were with equal opposing numbers, not with "5-6 FGs", just the 1.5 FG guild force we had out.

I think this is an issue of distinguishing the different battles throughout the night. The facts, from my viewpoint, is this. (1) SS had 1.5 FG throughout the night. (2) There were other FGs of Albs running around, notably The Brethren and, later, Legion of Darkness. (3) The SS group was never wiped throughout the whole evening. (4) There was 1 FG of NP and an assortment of FGs from other Mid guilds in Odin's. (5) There was 1 FG of LA and an assortment of FGs from other Hib guilds in Odin's. (6) NP and LA did wipe a few Alb groups, but never ours. (6) The best (but not all) of our fights with the Hibs and Mids were with equal numbers. A few of the fights we got timely intervention (or rescued another Alb group) just as things were going bad; like I said, it was a night of good timing.

Anyway, believe it or not, my original purpose with this thread was to ask Albs how they like RvR in the new patch, and Hibs and Mids if whether they think Albs are harder to kill now than before the patch. So. What do you think?

Well, its been a while since that night, and yes, I have to admit, NP whooped our arse... Dont know exactly what happend, but the zerkers ran through mez + root... Must have been because of their previous engagement with other albs or hibs....

Our group mostly consists of a few shield tanks + casters... Zerkers, atm, kill me very fast (with 29% slash resist), even with BoF up, I die within seconds... So if all CC fails, its pretty much over for my group...

But the hibs cant complain about 'zerging albs' as they themselves where with 2-FG (1 LA, 1 'random') a big part of that evening... Us Brethren where only with 1 FG (we usually dont have the numbers online for more), and I'm pretty sure we kicked the hibs more then once, or put up a great fight before dieing...

As said, we where actually resting at HMG (yes, bad place to rest)... But we never 'camped' HMG as we left after rez-sick was gone, as thats possibly the lamest thing to do... Oh wait, no, that was Thorey for rez killing me + our cleric that evening... Got you some good RP's did it, oh wait no...

you 'rest' at an MG, you don't expect hibs to arrive at the same time running the same distance at the same speed to the only bottleneck to the rest of midgard?
