Right, you prolly all know my real name isn't Shy right? well it isn't, but most peoples call me that, including my bf and most friends so it's quite normal to hear it.

But the weird thing is, I *swear* some guy at work called me Shy yesterday and now I'm freaked. So Dave, if you're watching, stand up and wave 4tehwin!!!

Sometimes ..

.. Nicknames have a funny effect on people or maybe there's a
certain quality 'responsible' for making people think of the
nickname.

I have casually noticed at least 2 instances (no I didn't look for
them or dig them up) where people were GIVEN the same
nicknames in two different groups of chaps.

Didn't overhear the guy saying "hi, my nickname is .. " .. we don't
do that sort of stuff over here

What I'm saying is .. that with a name like 'shy' maybe there's
enough truth in it to make people think of that(?)

P.S.: Being paranoid does not really pay off. If someone's out to
get/harass you, best thing is to leave them to it. They will get
bored.

And if the government wants you dead you should be safe till
you get to the age to collect your pension.
