Parachute Jump **FOR CHARITY!**

Hi All,

I am going to be doing a parachute jump to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign, and would appreciate it if you could sponsor me, the amount of users that are registered here, if you all gave me £1 that would be a staggering £17,109 in total! of course i am not expecting you all to sponsor me, but also i am not expecting to receive just £1 either.

You can check out the charity website here, the unconfirmed date for the jump is on the 17th may, i have now received my fund raising pack from the above charity and it is actually looking more like to be in october as that was the only choices they gave me, i am talking to parachute company about getting this put back a bit.

I will keep you posted if the date changes, I'll also post some pictures if anyone is interested in seeing them.

All I ask is for your name, and how to contact you, by email or whatever, and how much you are going to sponsor me for.

I will be sendings you details of how to send the money much nearer the time, everything is a bit up in the air so to speak at the moment, but i know how much sponsorship i need before i can do the jump so that is what i am working on right now .

well i wasn't planning to no, i was more of thinking bank to bank transfer as i would get more money that way as paypal charge to use there services so day if you sponsored me £20 i wouldn't get all the £20 i'd probably get £15 or something.

well that link is correct yes, but donating directly does not help me in anyway, as i have to reach a certain tarbet and then i can do the jump, if i dont reach that target then its no jump basically.

but do whatever you want.

No offense mate but how can you expect people to donate to your charity if they dont know you. You might as well send spam emails claiming your an African prince who wants to borrow money for investments in his home country or some other regular spam scam

I suggest you raise money from those that know you

that's just it innit grandad. I personally feel that Moon Light will be able to raise far more funds going about his hometown getting peeps to pledge on a face-to-face basis than here on the internet. I'm well aware that he can reach a huge potential audience this way, but the failure rate will also be sky-high.
Impo giving [or even pledging] money to a person on the internet whoever they may be is a definate no-no, thus I won't.

I do laude the effort though. I think it's brilliant doing stuff like this. Were he to ring my doorbell and explain what he was about I'd deffo promise a couple 'o bob
