I think your caps will increase with your realm lvl, something like that.

As far as i know only your max cap will be affected.

Ie the 300 cap will be romoved and you will see benefit of stats over 300 when buffed,ut +from items (75) will stay unchanged.

After reading this i think overcapping is very useless:

http://www.camelotherald.com/more/801.php

"The diminished returns of going over your optimal stat level: If bonus stats from items go over (character level)*1.5, every 25 stat points provide a stat bonus. "

1 real point for every 25 points over cap is realy nothing.

OVERCAPPING WAS NEVER IMPLEMENTED ON THE LIVE SERVERS!

(In caps just so you can't miss it).

Your SC templates etc. etc. don't need to change. The only thing that changes is buffs are uncapped and the 300-stat hard cap was removed.

Just to reinforce... ITEM CAPS REMAIN THE SAME.

What a good way to make people stop using buffbots!!

Finally they are doing something about it.

I love it, Mythic are really good at covering the fact that they care about money and money _only_.

And once again a great way to nerf casters anymore :(

The only classes who benefit greatly from this are:

Tanks (especially troll, firbolg and to a lesser degree highlanders)

Archers/stealthers (especially saracen, lurikeen and to lesser degree kobolds)

Int buffs were nowhere near caps, all others were, big caster nerf.

Gifv spec int buffs that aren't massively lower value the than basic stat buffs. 42 spec to get a +52 int buff when you can get +55 str/con at 34 spec (talking druids here, tho clerics are similar).

You are at hard cast speed cap already, and now you'll hit the diminishing returns "semi-cap" with int as well... honestly, what's to complain about? You'll have more con too, and without dim.returns because yoursw on't be over 300 like a pure tank's might be.

Yeah I get more con too.. Woohoo, I get the same con increase as someone else but as a caster I benefit less from it (I get less hp per con-point). I go from 1012 hp to somewhere around 1370 when fully buffed (

I don't cap on INT with even the highest cleric-buffs (from a 50 enhance buffbot) as Avalonian and Augm.Acuity 2.

A lvl 50 troll zerker with Augm.Strength 2 (same as my Augm.Acuity2) has same STR as I have INT with only the baseline-buff 2 classes (shaman and healer) can provide. And he goes 15% higher when he teams up with a shaman with 42 augm. (which the shaman has for end-regen).

To be more complete, I posted a screenie of my toon when I am buffed by a buffbot-cleric.

There is no spell casting time cap.

Also the most int I've ever had is 263 while buffed with a red acuity buff. OMG yes we're so overbuffed on int!!! My minstrel can get over 263 strength with ease let alone pure tanks.

Needs to be weighed up first mate. The impression i got from playing both caster and melee is that a nuker gets a hell of a lot more bang for thier buck with regard to int compared to str buffs for melee classes. Plus non of this is gonna fix the general caster prob in RvR. It's only gonna make it so that your gimp resist dudes get owned and the 80%-100% continue to laugh thier asses off. Imo cap the magic resist (at 30% or 50%) and the rest'll sort itself out without the need for a baseline int buff.

<Hijack>Can your mincer use the acu buffs ?</Hijack>

Currently only cloth-casters benefit form Acuity buff, as opposed to any class who can buy Aug Acuity, another nerf not focused on of course.
