Outlook Links no worky :(

I am using Outlook 2003 and when I type an email it doesnt hyperlink any URL's I put in.

I am using HTML as my mail format but it still doesnt work I can use other peoples links when they send me them, just not create my own.

Any ideas?

But, perhaps more helpfully, it might be something to do with security settings within Outlook?

Well that's me out of ideas, I haven't used Outlook for years.

I would use Thunderbird but its a work PC

Everyone else appears to be fine, its just me

Tools - AutoCorrect Options / Auto Format as you type tab.

Make sure Internet and network paths with Hyperlinks is ticked.

I don't have outlook installed on this machine but I'd imagine there's an option in the settings that automatically makes links into links which is turned off on your PC
