Outlook express and msn messanger.

Okay MSN messanger, the one that comes bundled with XP is now defunct. It says upgrade to messanger 6 when you try to sign in.

Not that I want it anyway, I am just trying to point out that MS have made a defunct piece of software seemingly integral to OE. Is there any possible way to stop msn messanger running with OE? Is there anyway to properly uninstall it? If you select it from add/remove components it simply deletes it from the start menu.

dunno about oe but in outlook tools -> options -> other -> unick enable messaging

oh and my windows messenger works fine here
