i haven't seen any mentioning off the preparation for the quest towards this raid.

as in the step to kill Malefact,
has that step become a BG credit thingy for the quest? or is it still a group encounter ... knowing that MAlefact has a spawnrate it could take a while before all participants are up to the final steps.
IIRC Malefact has a pretty fast spawn rate. Maybe Nomans could make this a pre-requisite? Malefact spawns blue/yellow to 50 with a few blue/yellow adds.

With all the changes to seige equipment in New Frontiers, do we know if the rams will work on the orbs? Think last time I did it we just had 2fg per orb...surely we can manage it with FF+Pallies+FoP? If we have enough along anyway.

Ogres might

I need ogres might 3 times, 1 with pally, 1 with cleric and 1 with necro. Although none is vital but will tag along if you are running one

I would come with a necromancer. Just to get rid of quest items... :)
