If you look up allana on duskwave it'll confim lvl 50 cleric

I may hit 200ish unstyled but I rarely do that.

FYI a level 50 thane hit me, a level 41 nightshade, for 200 damage so I'm not convinced they usually hit for 300ish damage at all

Must have been a gimp thane

I hit a yellow con luri (ranger I think) for over 300 dmg per hit with 1H. WIth 2H its over the scale, with 50 in axe (before I went shield), I could easily hit a chain user for over 400dmg.
We may be gimps, but we do hit like a truck, except when our buffs run out

i killed a lvl50 (well he was in epic armour, and yellow con) troll thane before my stun from creeping death ran out, can't do that on any other fighter class

cos the minute you get Pa'd you press FA2 and... slam ... then pray it lands

A good (or buffed ) assain can make short work off a thane but that's because we don't have much hp.
Unbuffed I only got about 1350 hp
And I'm one of those thanes without slam too.
Do it perfect and I'm dead, mess up and meet my hammer

Still, you aren't as gimped as I thought you were, but still you'll lose against an assassin unless you're very lucky.

Not that it matters really I've been told Thanes are alot of fun to play and that counts I guess.

As I said earlier I don't know much about level 50 RvR with my NS but from BG I've always wondered why guys with large shields go down so damn easy.

I just noticed on those screenies that u have IP on the same quickbar as your most used spells/styles in rvr.
Don't u find this kinda kinky, hitting ip button when u wanna smack someone silly?

Well I died few times trying to swap quickbar to hit ip so I decided to swap a good style for ip untill we get 10 qbar slots.

And thanes are very fun to play indeed

My spec is btw: 50 hammer, 50 SC, and 27 parry.
Still got my Full Respec though.

thanes are only good in BG for interrupting casters, and since most ppl dont know when to do that..

Thanes are the biggest joke in midgard next too hunters and warriors untill they become better...

yah, they have some nice effects on spells and may _sound_ good but they arnt... good for breaking mezz etc..not killing people...

Just make a Skald \o/
