only fools and horses > black adder?

blackadder is british comedy at its very very peak. just the absolute sarcasm and witt of rowan atkinson is painfully funny on its own, let alone melcheod (no idea if thats how its spelt).. he's fantastic in black adder goes forth as the general. the first season of blackadder is proper rubbish, because for some reason they wanted atkinson to play a crappy role that just didnt suit him atall, his dry witt type roles are by far better.

fools and horses is OK, but nothing special atall.. if anything it just depresses me, kinda dull... boring humour.. nothing special.

There is so much more to Only fools & horses than just humour, BlackAdder relies far too much on one-liners, a lot of which are crap anyway.

I think you missed the point the stupid insults and "one-liners" are meant to be stupid. It's the art of "weasel" words and phrases that are funny because it's funny that we find them funny.

and anyone who has seen the final scene of Blackadder goes fourth will tell you... there's more than just humour to Blackadder.

rofl, coupling is one of those comedys that make you cringe and actually feel sorry for the actors.. bit like my hero.
