This is what I made for new year! Picture quality isn't that great, gets fucking steamy in my kitchen at times, down to half of it being under ground.

nice marbling on that beef. did the wellington have a soggy bottom (tm) ?

Nah, I wrap it in prosciutto before putting the pastry on, keeps it nice and dry.

The fillet beef was excellent though £50 for 2.5kg, did the Wellington, a Stroganoff and a beef and guinness pie.

It's based on the BBC show they did which was actually quite a good watch. I'm quite keen to try their Lasagne next as I love all that good Italian stuff.

Just made this Lasagne. Was good taste but to "runny" for me. So would cut down on all the liquids :)

(Mine looks nothing like the picture on that page! :p)

I know that show, and the lasagne you mention. as mentioned, be wary of how moist you want it to be.

Made this two weeks ago it tasted yummy however cutting it with leeks was not easy :/

Same, the bird made it Sunday and it was really runny but tasted alright. Reduce the sauce and mince more imo. My fav one from the book so far is the Lamb Hotpot, well tasty.
