So just had to pop out and noticed some workman doing some work on the path around some grates but could not figure out what utility. Got around the corner and there is a fucking stand pipe on full fucking whack discharging water all over the road. If we get fined for filling a paddling pool/watering a 2m square patch of grass why the fuck are they not punished? Surely they could bring some form of container on tow to pump the water into and then take it back to a depot to chuck back into the system?

Kayaked to Morfa Nefyn today to go to the Ty Coch Inn for lunch.
Sea mist was thick. Couldn't see any of the (gorgeous) views.

I've been out to check the fruit bushes that I planted last year. 1 out of 6 is still alive and no rain for at least 2 more weeks. We had 5 minutes of rain on Wednesday (I think it was) The grapes have gone mad though, so I may attempt to make a small batch of wine. A farmer I know has got his oats in 2 weeks early.

Tropical scenes in NYC this week as we're having Amazon rainforest levels of humidity alongside our 33 degree daytime heat an 25 degree night time heat. The rain at night has been rather impressive too.
