foie gras - no: I dislike organ meats. A Steak and Kidney pie is pushing my limits
old whiskey on the other hand...hell yeah!

I am a luxury goods person, however I find it extremely important to have my own opinion, and have very strong ones on foods I like or dislike. Something being a "luxury item" doesn't meant that it's going to blow your mind and rock your world.

yay because it tastes good and I see the geese as a product. Just as I see chicken, pigs and cows as products aswell, while I see gunniepigs, dogs and cats as pets

And yes I know this will cause a massive shitstorm against me, but you might not think of it as such, but basically all meat you eat is a product and has not been treated like a living creature throughout itself short life span

If you think all the hamburgers and steaks you stuff down your throat has been treated nicely you are, most likely, oh so very wrong

but by that definition if hamsters were born and raised in captivity, living im small cages and killed when they are fit for it, would turn into a product? coz it lived like one.

Yes. But foie gras tastes vile, therefore I don't eat it.
