How did you remove the blob of colour behind your icon text?

Cheers for that link, ~Yuckfou~. Been looking for an app like this for a while. Didn't really like Samurize. :)

Not very exciting but I haven't put anything in here for ages.

I made the samurize script about a year ago and it actually fits the background image quite well.

Tis indeed. Was very chuffed to get my ADSL modem working in it last night, after a few hours worth of struggle.

Now just to upgrade it to Breezy (5.10) and get some games up and running. ;D

One thing, Sar - fonts are ugly...
You using a TFT monitor? Can PM you a good ~/.fonts.conf

Got the fonts.conf file, thanks :)

Clown, copy that to your /home/<name>/.fonts.conf file ;)
A quick way to do that is copying it, then open a terminal and

$ cp ~/.fonts.conf ~/.fonts.conf.back
$ cat > ~/.fonts.conf
<paste here>
then press enter, ctrl+d

Or should I, if I have a CRT? Just read up on the sub-pixel font rendering, and apparently it works best on LCDs, and not so well on CRTs.
