I made my own for Samurize, but I watch to many TV channels so it ended up taking up nearly my entire desktop.

The TV utility I use for Samurize is just the common UKTV script. The images I've made myself, but other than that it's really nothing special (I'll post them if you want, but they're generally nothing special).

You made find 'Shy's Samurize thread in the hardware forums of use.

Below is a mockup of a dual-screen desktop I had toyed with. Sadly I have a feeling the wallpaper is a tad illegal, so I'm not actually using any of this, but I thought I'd post it anyway ...



The unofficial (I presume) Lord of the Rings Panorama wallpaper was found on ThemeXP. The theme, not that I go in for dark themes, is Carbon Pro based on StudioTwentyEight's (them again ) Shinobi theme. Finally, the 'retro' Phoenix/Firebird icon can be found on MozDev.org.

The Samurize config has parts from the Vipez2 config on their webpage, but I edited it a load myself to incorporate things I wanted.

The background I've had for a long time and is called ReiTech and can probably be found on deviantart too..

Skyler, did you have any troubles getting the tv guide to work, mine just says file not found.. seems to not be creating the txt file. I've tried adding a new script but when I test it it says error in subscript [number 2]. Any ideas?

UKTV script is b0rked I think Nath, I've had the same problem for a few days now, normally it means the site the data is collected from has changed it's format, either have to wait for an update or re-write the code yourself

Its a theme, you can tell by the start menu (which a mac has nothing like)

I got a theme and using Style XP loaded it up, but my start menu dont look like the rest of my theme. Ie it is the default XP style. How can I change it?

I have also been looking on deviance at some of the themes and it says look at stardock for an alternatice shell. What they mean?

Well, if the start menu hasn't changed it may just not have been skinned. You can't change individual parts of the GUI, it has to be done through a big theme. As an end user, that is. If you were to make your own theme you can do what you like. Let's not go there though.

The "alternative shell" can refer to two things: First up, replacement .DLL files (such as "shell32.dll") which are used to properly swap system icons, without exceptions.

More commonly, an "alternative shell" refers to a complete explorer replacement such as Litestep.

Dead handy.
