Wandering around in a full group of 50's we had just been killing an epic mob we decided we would suiside so we headed first to the AMG where we can across some Hibs and Albs having a tussle so mids been mids we joind in now as i always do i just hit F8 and stuck to the first thing that poped up...... However unlucky for me i happened to stick to an alb by the name of Sanguineus i instantly hit my Doublefrost button which normaly is my hardest hitting style at first glance i thought i had missed but with further inspection and all the rest of the group noticing the exact same thing we were all hitting for next to nothing

You perform the doublefrost perfectly (+17)
You attack Sanguineus with your axe for 27 (-7)
You attack Sanguineus with your axe for 9 (-3)

What the hell is that that has to be some sort of joke an SB in the group PA'd him for arround 30 someone said sommat about an RA if this is true it is rather rediculos how are you supposed to stand a chance hitting for so little.

probably bunker of faith not sure on the details but completely kills your damage think buffs up melee resistence or absorbtion

Funny u should post this me and Litmus were damage testing.. my damage has gone from 230ish/85ish to 115ish/ 23ish... im like eh? took me so long to nail litmus I gave up.... both unbuffed couldn't believe it. Last Time we dueled I hit for alot more.

Definitely Bunker Of Faith.....its 50% absorb buff(ie, plate has 34% absorb, BoF makes that 84%.).

Great RA, stick that with a minstrel ablative and a PBT, and you have 30 seconds of melee-invuln mode

Yeah, playing a pac-healer is so much fun. You land one aoe mezz, try to singletarget mezz the resists, screen freezes up from purge animations, next you see is your corpse face down with 20 enemy tanks on top.



Mebbe that's why they're rare, just a thought.

you're forgetting that your average alb does minimal melee damage too, BoF just evens the field for 30 seconds, but afterwards your damage goes up again, whilst alb's stays crap..

Just spend the 30 seconds or so killing casters who still die reasonably fast when it's on, or just CC them for the duration, or sprint out of range with your endless end buffs and laugh spam til you think it's worn off..

I've been in many melee-heavy groups which have faced off vs BoF and while immensely annoying, it really doesn't last all that long, and we usually win (-- exceptions being sotl who always use SoS + BoF and are caster heavy (well they got walker ) so can do actual damage unlike the majority of alb tanks..).

Ah, AE Stun, that most useful of spells... hit with an AE Mez first, watch it get Purged, then AE Stun, that gives me... hmmm... 7 seconds max in which I wont get killed, unless its resisted (it normally is) at which point everyone jumps me.

Aye Matts..I hardly ever have armsmen or what not do " minimal " dmg to my shaman , ofcourse they dont all hit equal hard , but then again my shaman dont hit as hard with a weapon as a berzerker does , does he

Point being when 2 offensive melee classes are together malevolencia i am sure you would rethink what you said,i have seen a zerker kill me 3 hits nearly YES 3 HITS! well it was ratmode of course and then myself i have killed some enemy tanks in 4 hits a fair few times...

I like to see a pole armsman like gladiator hit you mal i have seen the guy take 50% off tanks one whack.

The main thing is you may get a few that do not hit you as well,they might not have as good items,sc armour or crafted weapons could be many reasons also spec is different too..
