this is something i might run, hate using swaps for env.
i can put up with lower stat caps as i can just plug the gaps using RAs if i feel i have any problems.

If you're totaly broke and this is the best you could muster, then I would say let it take you to rr5.

But your sig block says you have a rr11 so im going to assume you arn't broke. Look further down in some NS threads for some good templates. I posted a few, and Ceixah has the best i've seen so far.

Spellcrafting that many items on a NS = Bad news.

Also, regarding your swaps for envenom: If you drop your env with a swap out after applying you will have damage variance in your poisons.

So its best to keep 50 comp at all times.

its really easy to make a cheap shade template though I didnt even look before but looks like you're using locked down weapons.


in which case it should be even easier !

If i was still playing I'd totally give a crack at sorting you a temp however atm I'm taking a short break!

I've given my buffbot pc's PSU to a friend who can't afford a PSU atm so I'm just chilling atm :)

My suggestions


2x Tark Rings
Jewel of the Dread Stalker
Dragonseye strand
Mydraxxis Cloak
Galla Vest
Slayer Arms
ML10 Legs(if not too expensive these days - if not I'd recommend using slayer legs)
10AF Crafted boots
Scallars
Crafted Hat

if you're set in using the same weaps all the time I'd recommend going blades and using technomancers and something like malice.

Malice proc still wins fights.
and 125 dot proc is sick on technomancer.


you need to remember above all else though - you need to survive on a shade so capping out your defence is very handy.


50af 400hits is a must.


10spell pierce is a bonus and a very good one at that.

How hard does that 125 dot hit for in a 26% resist reality? 80-90?

Currently im using leggy mainhand and dragonslayer fumble/melee resists +5 in offhand, its pretty hilarious when the fumble lands :p

But in the end all I think my 2 leggy template was more effective. I'll probably end up making a temp very similar to cexiahs, ima try to fit levi ring in there and remove scalars tho (I have personal vendetta against scalars.) :)

when scallars proc I can take 3-4 at same time w/o mezz poison :p


when it doesnt proc just 1-2 :(

im using dual 4.2s also, but im thinking I may buy a set of 3.4s to see if I can cap that attack speed and get off a debuff faster.

how effective is the AF, how does it equate in terms of melee resists and is there an absorb factor to it as well? I run a bard bot too, so I wasn't overly concerned with it.
369/400 hits is fine tbh - if a fight comes down to a 31 hp point difference then I'd just call it a good fight that I lost lol.
I was trying to move away from leggys and not go blades. So sick and tired of the same old weapons. Guess I'm stuck with them. Zen and meph rarely proc and I can't remember plaguebringers proccing too often either.
Is it worth investing in WP and MoM? If so, do you crank the RA or balance it with MoP?Does MoM stack with viper? Can't remember if WP works with viper.
Just bought infernal sleeves so I'll have another crack at it with leggys /sigh

my infernal temp with leggies should be on the forum somewhere - or someone should have it - i've recently formatted so don't have the config report anymore


but 50 af and 400 hits is a MUST!

and 90+ con

(i also run an AF bot when playing and have 729 AF buffed - it helps!)


as for the 31 hp comment, I used to think like that too but you sure as hell notice the difference when you have 400 hits.

the debuffs see to those problems easily enough.


i attack heavy tanks with shaman resists up and still rip them in half - viper helps.

The primary difference between our templates:
Mine has more heal procs, CL5/Slayer weapons, with the option to swap out for a leggy mainhand, only 1% attack speed and lower AF.

Cex's has capped attack speed, dual leggies, higher af, lower dex, less heal procs.

Cex, I had some free time yesterday and started working on a temp with 10% SP and 10% magic damage. I managed to get 8% magic damage, with melee TOAs capped. But the trade off was 0/11 Celtic Dual.... Any thoughts?

I need to do some testing to see the damage difference with 10% magic damage for a NS, teamed up with Mastery Of Magery.

Gives me 40/50 AF too depending on cloak.

10% magic damage doesnt make much odd's the biggest factor by far is having 101/101 dex

I used to swap to ml10 staff on ns to nuke and i would lose 8 dex and from that 8 dex i would lose more damage than i gained from the 4% spell damage

That makes sense punish, but im looking to find out how 10% magic dmg will affect my poisons and DDs while in melee rather than actually casting on people.

hmm just punched in the infernal template into korts sc calc - the weaps are coming up as 38/32 impossible if i put in the 4hp gem @ 94% in the 4th slot. Thats how it used to be done to calculate the imbue properly , has it been changed or is there a little hack?

althought I could probably improve it if I wasn't such a lazy turnip that gets angered by making templates :)


although not sure when i'll be resubbing and playing again (although my accounts are actually open i think haha)
