i'm talking about SI times savages still 2 shotted fully templated paladins pre-nerf with a good 2handed multi hit.

I thought Hand to Hand was able to quad and triple hit ;o

It's only H2H that can multi hit, and the damage was stupid at times. Imagine a quad hit with 4 weapon procs (yes 4 procs is very unlikely, but possible and crazy damage)...

Savages back then richly deserved the nerf just like the DD poison today.

considering the fact that every single class has been OP at one point in the games life, reverting all the nerfs done to them would theoretically make the game pretty damn balanced

You could spec H2H which would give you double, tripple and quad hits in 2H as well. Tho I don't think those combi-specs where very popular because savages lack the spec-points to do so.

Nevertheless, I've seen people spec 39 Hammer, 34 H2H, 39 Savagery in order to get those stupid multi 2H hits.
