NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- All Animist 'fire and forget' turrets have been reduced in hit points by 70%.

NEW FRONTIERS NOTES

- Teleporting into a keep will now drop you inside the lord tower of the keep.

- Animist turrets cannot be cast upward over 250 units onto enemy keep or tower pieces. This is to stop turrets from ending up on the keep/tower ramparts, but still allows defenders to cast down onto attacking forces. Please note that Animists will still be able to cast upward over 250 units for their own realm's tower and keep pieces (or their own guild's tower and keep pieces for the PvP ruleset).

- Turrets cannot be cast into the lord tower of a keep unless the Animist is also inside the lord tower. This is to stop turrets from being cast into rooms inside the lord keep through windows.

- Much of the aggression generated by Animist turrets will now be transferred to the Animist's controlled pet during PvE combat.



NEW FRONTIERS NOTES

instead of around 1500 hp animist pets will have 450...

no more animist pets cast into enemy keeps...

thats exactly what was needed. Good stuff :)

Sounds as if Mythic is really trying to put the Animist problem to rights - good going imo. Lets hope they can find some way to deal with realm overpopluation issues as well.

Tis about time imo,kinda overpowered when they can put the turrets anywhere they liked,no other realm has anything like that ability so n1 mythic.Was only muttering about the problem yesterday in a fight at mid entrance steps in df,animists were even able to put the damm things on the top lvl killed ppl up by the doorway,for once the nerf bat swings and strikes.Animists gonna cry but they still gonna kick ass in keep def/att just not as well at attack now,damm luris gonna have to get off their backsides now an start climbing again rather than letting shrooms do it :)

Another help is for hib PvE. Animists will no longer dominate PvE because now all PvE aggro is generated towards there commanding pet. So unless they have strong healing support that pet could die very fast.

Lol because savages cant make 100's of themselves and be put up walls,in windows,in trees.
Yes savs are powerful but only in the 1v1 sense,animists could own whole grps of savs no problem b4 if they managed to get the shroom killing fields down.NO longer. :clap: :kissit:

the trick is u have to wait untill dragon makes his usual walk in EZ and starts flying ...while hes not in lair u shroom with fop etc last lvl shroms, when he comes back B0000m!

nothing is gona change ...2x15 L50 pets with ML ability lvl boost + ae buff share almost insta killed dragon. same thing goes for rvr tbh ae buff on shrooms = pwn. about the los issuie its just a fix ...like they fixed necro :m00:

Well, it had to happen. It is a simple law of action and reaction--when one class rises to the top in terms of impact, RPs, whines, and amount of people playing them, there can be only one answer, and that's a hefty nerf.

you never played an animist right? mobs go straight for the animist atm, so if they go for control turret first.. xDD

but i will miss duoing(soloing) zahur/golden spear/chimera(2 anis)/battler/chamberlain/ceremonial bracer/nailahs robe/croc tooth dagger/kerise/minkhat/danos and so on and fourth... any lvl ~80 mob :) :)

finally. tho ae-buffing probably makes up for losing hp, but then again no more petspam inside your own keep \o/
