I did read all of thread, and yes it BS to some and then again not BS to others. Im one of the non BS people, if that makes any sense. Oh dosn`t this seem sort of unbelivable to some or every one. Feels like a movie.

My point was just about any theory can be conjured up from nostradamus' vague teachings, this is the case with my last post, whats to say that of the millions of interpretations, one isn't siamese (sorry, conjoined) twins?

Ahem. The City of God is fairly well known to be Zion, alternative name the Second Jerusalem. It also is, in fact, in heaven. When the terrorists charter a flight there, let me know. I don't think we really need to worry, because I recall that Nostradamus predicted the end of the world for a few years back. Prove that the world is now ended, and I will panic.

Nostradamus was a clever man.

He was clever at writing passages that could be interpreted of thousands of ways. There are any number of events that you could think his sayings describe. It's all toss. And besides all that, who cares. I'd be more worried about my own ass than some prophetic nonsense from centuries ago..

Sigh, every so often whenever a disaster happens it is possible to attribute some aspects of it to the extremely broad, words-of-a-thousand-meanings writings of Nostradamus. What pisses me off is everyone quotes selective passages, a kind of mix'n'match if you will, to suit themselves. Here is another example doing the rounds.


In the year of the new century and nine months,
From the sky will come a great King of Terror...
The sky will burn at forty-five degrees.
Fire approaches the great new city..."
"In the city of york there will be a great collapse,

Update: Apparently this quote is not from Nostradamus as reported by a few of our visitors notably Grant Bugher and Mark Briggs. That it is really a hoax. You can find out more about this hoax and the author of this quote here. Here is also a link describing where the hoax came and sheds some light on how it is sort of easy to make your own. Thanks for the feedback guys. I really had no idea about this. I guess I'm stuck on the SCI-Fi show First Wave on the SCI-Fi channel… :)

Well ok let me try to explain somethings...First off Nostradamus did in fact die in 1566 odds are the prediction was made in 1564 not 1654. Then old nostradamus predicted the world would in 3000 something. I want to say 3013. Which we'll all be long since dead.

The '1654' quote is widely attributed to a bored Canadian uni student.
