I specially liked the

Something needs to be done about all this nukeing thru walls on all sides, And arrows, And Pets.

I remember all the *nerf* cries over 1 shot kills on casters, admitedly 3 spells isnt one shot, but in game mechanics time its pretty close. Come on teador you have to admit you need nerfing?

I have 29% energy now with aom 1 and i still get hit for 600-700 by enchanters before i only had 13% the damage is basically the same,i really do hope they nerf them in some way,i remember one enchanter killing 12 albs 2 pbaoes at mmg...

It is overpowered as is the SM PBAE and the bugged pets, the later gets fixed in a couple of months but I am not sure they will touch PBAE. They do need to tone down the PBAE damage in RvR but to do so may harm the way Hib groups exp and force mythic to make other changes which they have shown they are less than capable or willing to to do.

shot 1 from stealth (misses due to bt)
3 further shots, standing still required to kill you. If you could just stand at 2300 range, not cast any spells on me that would be great. Alternativly you could stun/mez/root me. Run up and spam 6 seconds of Pbaoe...

Ever seen a scout beat a chanter 1v1? No didnt think so

Just FYI. Backstabb/PA dont give a fuck about bt. If u get a PA or backtabb in caster is dead.

I don't really see why you're moaning here; you're out solo against a group of us 'taking' a keep. He's fully buffed you are not, he's got 7 other people around him looking out for him (no, I don't forget to heal you on purpose teador ).

You shouldn't be out soloing or scouting (muahaha) for that matter, patch 1.50 mythic has spoken. If you were in a group you'd just assist some tank who has already broken pbt and it would be game over for that caster.

Why do ppl play Enchanters in droves?
Easy: So damn owerpowered. They know it, but won't admit it since they are afraid of a rightful nerf. My dear enchanters, when LoS bug is fixed and your PBAOE is nerfed heavily, then balance feels better, admit it: It's insane that one guy (remember USP) can kill 20 mids in a matter of seconds with A WALL between him and them.

PBAE isn't overpowered.

Thing with pbae is one needs to get within 300 range to use it, and preferably even closer since damage is higher if target is closer to the center of the blast.
I actually think its quite fair that a spell with such limitations has very high damage output.

The overpoweredness of the chanter pbae comes from their stun, their MoC and the various issues with nuking through walls imo. Those are the things that needs to be looked at, not the damageoutput!

Anyway, if you are afraid of pbae then just keep a distance to the manabombs, personally i prefer to avoid bombs of all kinds.
What would be even better than avoiding them, byt the way, is if everyone with ranged damage learn to bring them down quickly when they move in for the blasting. They are quite fragile afterall ya know

(I remember a time when i stunned a little chanter in the middle of 4-5 tanks and nobody touched him until stun wore off )

I am moaning that he did 900 damage to me whilst... I WAS PORTING THRU A WALL! and hence unable to do JACK SHITE

Completely agree, but only way for me to do any defence against attacking people (as i was first on scene) was to get inside the keep. the thrust of the thread is the cast speed, and the 'thru the wall/door' issue. If as soon as the gate keeper had started to transport me, I had been granted a 10 second pvp invulnerability (mutual) timer, I would have been thru and out of range, and alive. As it was I arrived 'dead', I started off 'alive' between alive and dead i was able to do nuffin.

And before people suggest I should have sniped at 2FG from the rear, run and hid. Try it before u recommend it.

Nerf Teadors damage variance, or did he have time, to destealth you, set pet on you wait for pets 2 seconds cast time, then pull of another of his 1.5 sec cast time PBAE, while you stood enterily still upon him?

Don't worry though pets through keep gets nerfed if that is what you worry about.

PBAE is too powerful when combined with MoC the speed of casting is too fast and the damage is very high.
But you can bypass it assuming everyone in area knows tactic..
But the High Realm Rank ones might be able to counter it.

Simple way is if you see a name you recognise as a PBAE'er spread out and nuke him from range and if you see the MoC go off then run away for 30 secs

And as for gatekeeper there is a tactic there too But its a secret
and we tell only allies that one

Dunno presumably as i was porting i was 'magically' on fringe of damage as opposed to near, who knows. Sometimes the codes crazy...

Kill them first every time ... Petty I know but if a class annoys you try to kill it

avoid, Deal with , destroy or Run away
One of those Four tactics normally work

We had multiple chanters parked at the GK, their main job was to kill anyone who tried to port in. You were solo, you deserved to die and you did die just like so many others before you so wahey to us!

PBAE is a high risk spell which can make or break a fight. Yes, I do agree chanters are overpowered in that they can debuff their own baseline dd. PBAE is counterable and a perfectly legitimate spell which isn't overpowered at all and only useable in certain situations.
