hi

so i have 8 days to play shade ! which was fully unspecced for some reason

should i go back to using blade/cd spec? (i have a really good template for this with lots of goodies n high hits/str/con, however itd be malice/ml10 offhand weaps)

OR

should i spec crit :S i hear thats very good nowadays, better than ye olde cd shade, however i would have a template that has only 61 con and lacks 5 slash if i use malice/ml10, itd have 7x con n capped important resists if i use malice/battler :S

OR

should i try and sell one of my goodies (i have no monies, but lots of what used to be expensive items back in the days, ie. sililia's neckies, silent oblivion rings, ml10 stuffs, osv) and try and get a pierce/cd leggie temp within a week :S or something with cs now i have a free respec anyhow

any help/suggestions/input would be greatly appreciated and possibly rewarded with performances on webcam !

In 1.87 every class who could auto train got given all the extra points even if they didn't auto train while leveling. All those classes thus got a free respec and will always keep their auto-trained points.

I don't know how to play shade though so can't help there.

Auto-train or not no longer matters (that's the reason you're shade's not speced). I'm pierce atm and I use 4 sets of weapons with the same stats; thrust with ml10 main and crafted offhand with same stats as bladeshadow, spirit with main having the same stats as the plaguebringer and bladeshadow as offhand, cold and matter with what i mentioned above.

Then again I carry about 20something weapons with me for re-apply so go figure

Current spec at rr7 is 44 CS, 39 pierce, 33 stealth, 33 env, 29 (or something) CD.

And yes, the evade chain from CS is pure love (ripper (50CS style) is broken so no point specing for that)

- Level 50 styles in Dual Wield, Celtic Dual, Left Axe, Critical Strike, Two-Handed and Polearm skills should now do their proper damage. This fixes a long-standing bug that prevented the styles from having a growth rate.

50 Composite Stealth/Envenom
18+rr Cd
Rest Pierce (Got 40+18 atm which gives 1500+ws or so )

Im running that atm at rr8/9 and i find it nice

Afaik the patch notes did spesifically say that they fixed the 50 styles from cs, dw, cd, la and polearm as there was a bug that prevented those styles from having any growth rate.

Works on US imo. Could be that you havn't got some hot-fix or something with your patch. GoA beeing GoA and all that.
