Nightwish are about as close to actual gothic rock as Dimmu Borgir is.

You want Goth Rock you're better off listening to the likes of Tiamat (Which are awesome btw, shame they're not about anymore).

As said before, the singer is not the same in the picture as it is in the songs you mentioned. The new singer has only made one song so far (Eva). The old one got booted for being a complete biatch.. or so they tell us anyway ;>

And yeah, it was a very good band before, not sure will it be that anymore. Even though i do think that Eva was quite ok.

(how come you have never heard of nightwish before? ;p)

EDIT: Nightwish are great, seen them live on stage aswell and their performance is absolutely spectacular =)
