Nightshades in bg1

I am always solo with my shade. Which is fairly obvious if I dont make my getaway and get ganked. I never have buffs, unless someone has been kind to me :). And I am still figuring out which classes I can and can't kill.

Wish I could afford a buffbot so I didn't have to worry about that ...

Oh and if you are solo, theres a good chance I might try attacking you. Even shield Pallies <cough> :p

NS crap? Nah not if played right....Had great fun running around solo in BG-1. Just having a rest atm trying to stop myself from capping before I can get one of these sweet medals of valour.

Only time I group my NS is when doing keep defense or taking as standing outside a keep with about 20 enemies and no one to keep an eye on your health is abit scary to say the least ;) But yeah mainly you'll find me solo so take heart because we do exist....just my stealth is 23 so you have to get REAL close to spot me :p .....Seriously though I have had no real problem killing any class as long as I of course get my PA in correctly, without that of course I'm going to get ganked by the big tuff Gerbil. I'm a Leather wearing Elph for christs sake using piercers, no buffs and a gimped Celtic dual as back up! Must admit though I tend to stay as far away from Friars and Bone Dancer thingies (not sure what they are.....the middie ones with those damned fossil healers) as they are the only two classes I cannot kill solo.....atm :)

Rofl, that's my guildmates alt. He's got a 50 eld, was probably drunk and thought he was playin him or sumthin. :D

No-one ever has though!

I'd really love for a stealther to attack me, just to see how easy it would be to kill it...

If you hadn't capped out, I'd suggest looking out for me :)

The most fun i have had in DAoC so far was with my NS (Ehm) in bg1, he was auto train stealth becaus i want to go to 50 with him and he had SC armour.
It was fun to kill other stealther who could see me from far away and thought i was a ez kill, when they got close they got dd and the fight started with out pa/bs, lvl 25 poison, caped melee resist, good dmg and you got one dead sb/infl.

I dont think i ever tryed 1 on 1 with a fraier, but i have been killed by them alot running away from a fg. BD are imposeble to kill 1 on 1, first time i meet one i went right at him, i died, then 2 more ns whent on him and he killed them :/

But after he caped i desided to go with another spec and i started a new ns (lvl 7 now) and i am gonna del him and make me a celt bladeshade when we get 1.62 so he wont get any higher.

I'm often solo with my Nightshade 'Ire' - trouble is, it's very hard to find anyone to attack that is solo. Especially when albs are zerging up the BG!

Makes a nice change to hear of mulitple Hib stealthers owning togther, well done chaps! :D

Cheers

Wish i had the patience to lvl my ns to 24... she's only 23 atm but ive pwned my fair share of mages :p

Tho i have to admit NS dmg output is silly, i mean, i hit for around 50 with garrotte on sbs and they hit me back (with garrotte) for 90-100 + offhand (my cd is so gimped i seldom hit with offhand)

One SB in particular by the name of Severian (damn her =/) keeps spotting me from like 30 feet and whacking me in 3-4 hits (happened several times today)

However, back to the point. In my experience (played 2 days with ns in bg1) soloing is soo much more fun than grouping as although you can't just go up and gank everyone you have to really concentrate on picking the right targets/opportunities and running off with 30 angry albs chasing you after oneshotting a sitting mage is really a rush ^^ whereas hunting in group is more or less just camping someplace and then when someone pass by, PA PA PA dead restealth repeat.
