As much as I can understand Hib being frustrated with the current realm population, I don't think it justifies an alarm clock raid. If relics can only be taken at 7am, they might as well be removed from the game completely.

It's also getting very annoying to always hear players from Hib and Mid saying that all Albs are zerging because they have no skill. If population numbers were reversed, I'm pretty sure you would use a lot of zergs as well. Doing RvR, people go to the spot where the action is. It was bad enough pre NF, but with the war map AND fast porting it's totally hopeless. As soon as a tower or keep is under siege, people cluster around it in a couple of minutes. Trust me, I hate it as much as any Hib or Mid player. Roaming groups are very rare these days.

I find it hard to believe that all stupid and incompetent players pick Albion as their realm when they start to play, nor do I think all the bright and talented ones pick Hib or Mid.

Its a 24/7 game m8. Forget about it, you honestly think we won't take them back?

Yes, thats what happened...but how did you figure it out, someone told you? Do you have a spy in hib and another in mid so thats how you got informed? Are you an x-realmer?

Well; atleast it wasn't me :O

Im a Hib/Pryd (got a RR10 Druid and a RR8 Ranger - before people go 'play Hibernia abit longer before making up bullshit'; I know the realm of Hibernia and its classes pretty good) who recently started playing AGAIN on Alb/Excal to help a friend level up a 50 on his BB-account.

I wasnt around when Alb/Excal got his relics; and I wasnt around when Alb lost a relic tonight.

BUT: There's a distinct difference between a relic-raid (in 1.70) starting at prime-time BUT because of the need of taking keeps and such ending at 4:00 AM and 'en-masse logging in at 4:00 AM to siege a keep to get a relic'.

From what I understood Albs did the first thing; and Hibs now did the second thing.

If you exclude stalemates for 3 hours there's NO excuse to take back 'your own' relic (read: take 1 keep) past 'a reasonable' hour. Start siege at 22:00 CET u get (or wont get) the relic before 0:00 CET.

Hibs didnt do that; Hibs logged on at 'around' 4:00 AM and went straight to the keep holding their relic to fight 'en-masse' NPC's. Is it illegal? Nope. Does it open the 'box of pandora' for all realms to start doing it? Most likely.

I think in OF it was most beneficial to Hibernia there was a long-time 'no alarm-clock pact' on Excalibur. Silently breaking this pact as first one will open a box I think most Hibs (I say most; see VF who's not happy with it too; like I think alot of Hibs) will regret; and will make the realm of Hibernia most likely one of the weakest to this regard.

Dont forget the biggest realms in terms of population got the easiest way to do an alarmclock-raid.

first of all, we can't take em at prime time, that's a fact, having to fight numbers triple our forces is gonna end in defeat ALWAYS! besides, you just love those cuz its a good farm session and rps flow in like hell for you guys, for us its hell ...

its a 24h game for fucks sake and if you don't like that you should try 2 things:

-find another game to play.
-vote to shut down the servers in between midnight and 8am to prevent this from happening.

It's easy for you to say "its a 24h game for fucks sake". I wonder if you will say the same thing if another realm did an AC raid and took both your relics.

"good work hibs"....? What was "good" about it.....? Killing a few NPCs? Hell yeah, that must have been a real rush.

The day Albs do an AC raid I'm not going to say "Great work lads, we really kicked some NPC butt didn't we?", that's for sure.
