The face of the server populations dictates there will always be more albs online at any given time.

Again, selective reading. I NEVER said that Hibs would win or lose against any particular duo. It is all about careful positioning and using your utility to its fullest potential. In a lot of keep wars it is possible to be in a position where you are able to nuke someone and them unable to nuke you back. And as we all know, in a keep warfare, it is never a fight between 2 people. It's many people, Normally 5-6fg. so any comparison we may make about hibs/albs fighting is irrelavent, as in general, it normally comes down to ... who has the greater number. Or even who PLAYS the best.

And i'd also like to point out, there is fuck all special about a lurikeen. A saracen is able to hit EXACTLY the same dex and intel. The only difference being HP (saracen has higher base con) and size (lurikeen is obviously smaller). All this prejudice about lurikeens being the most OP race in the game is misplaced. While luris can be all but animist while saracen can only be sorc/cabby doesn't mean anything. Luri still can't be an Animist. And the opposite class (Theugist) can also, not be saracen. In fact, the race choice for these 2 classes is very close.

So yes you are spewing just as much alleged crap.

Anyway, it really doesn't matter ... It was a fun night, i got 104k rps and 114 DB's on my eld ... bring on todays spam!

PS We discoevered something interesting about the MR the other night - RA's seem to affect it as normal (i.e. passive damage ones) - I was consistently doing almost 70-100 more damage with my MoM4 and WP3 than our Merc was when MR'ed a few nights ago. Now all we need is a caster to spec MoM5 and WP5 then get MR'ed

It's not only RAs, also the acuity stat. Casters who are MR'd will always do quite a lot more damage than tanks who are MR'd.

Well in the defence of Mids, there were a mlmarathon going strong when Hib event went off. Taking away 60 people or so from Mid rvr population makes it abit desolate, so I guess those few Mids actually RvRing at the time just thought it be better to try some farming.

Actually the size factor matters alot in keep sieges as you often have a very small window (both visually and in terms of time) to target - Luri's are much harder to target than other character models.

I think this topic was talking about yesterday rvr so, who cares if 1 time our guild was in a relic raid earlier? yesterday our guild was most time repairing eras that mids was hitting meanwhile hibs were hitting beno and we were trying keep alive surs bold and hurb towers, so its why I dont understand why u said: agains Custodia Malacitana lamers. Well our guild usually plays at night time as work, study and other issues doesnt let us play at mornings, so who says play DAoC is only for morning and evening till 24:00? Well we try play RvR at time that we can, we try do the best that we can, and people who doesnt like how we play Im really sorry for this as I hope we still playing so good as we have been playing till now.

who cares if luri's can get pb, you have to spec that way to get pb! i'm not comparing spells and shit, that's pointless, it's a never ending debate, i was comparing races. and it is quite viable for a wizard to get 380 dex with no issues if you take the correct RA's. my eld currently has 407 dex, 15 dex at creation, 100 template dex, AD4 and buffs. simply do -20 for wizard and .. omfg ... 387 dex

yes, but there is also the problem that sometimes, a small luri can't see over the window i have this problem a lot with my eld and a shape change is the only viable option i have to see over windows

Just posting this quickly OTW to bed folks - excellent fun tonight - was a nailbiter of a RR - us cutting port, you reestablishing it, us retaking surs/benow you retaking, us retaking it. Not many pure group-group fights tonight ofc - more getting flattened by a zerg but hey its all fun.

Have to say WP to Custodia, KF and Gingy's group for sticking with things as long as they did. Just sorry i couldnt stay for the end result.

Also WD to Rhuvetha for holding her cool and keeping control of the Alb BG, and to whoever was leading the Hib BG - you positioned your zerg against ours (only 60 people in the alb BG at the peak btw) and took keeps very well.

Mids didnt really start appearing until the end of the night and then only in 3-4fg force.

Good fun, just sorry i couldnt stay on all night.
