Anyway, possibly not the right thread for such a discussion, but just fyi! If you admit to cheating in a game such as this, then certainly a large part of the community is not going to forgive you for it. This isn't something restricted to one server, or even game. "It was on another server, and besides, everyone else did it" neither excuses nor justifies it.

Maybe you shouldn't judge a guild by one of its members, but all you can judge a guild by is the members it comprises. The guild's decision to keep someone regarded as a cheater leads to people perceiving the guild as accepting his actions. There's no problem with your decision, there were doubtless good reasons for it; however, you should be prepared for people flaming you for it, and at least understand their reasons rather than rejecting them by counterflaming random people.
I concede that it shouldn't have been done here, except for the silly picture at least.

Point is: Someone cheating on the US-version of DAOC is as bad TO YOU (or me; or anyone else playing Prydwen) as someone cheating in UT, D2, or Monopoly with their wife and children. It does *NOT* concern you, nor does it give you an unfair disadvantage.

I leave you to it, in your eyes its worse to not-cheat on Prydwen but admit cheating on US then to cheat on Prydwen but not admit it.

tbh I agree 100%. Also I don't consider we owe anyone here an explaination for anything, and am happy to let peeps get on with flame among themselves.

However, for anyone still anxious about important issues of today such as penlids radar abuse on a US server, I recommend you raise them in the following forum.

An while I'm at it. People might make little of window drag cheating, but it did more to fuck up fights than radar ever did on prydwen, imo ofc.

i have to say there is a big diffrens betwen ppl endless rack down NFD coz a member did something wrong (he have never been banned for it) on US.

i can tell you, that you cant load US radar in EU due to been diffrent patches, each time mythic make a patch (can be just 1kb) it fuck up radar and they have to update it again.

and no i havnt radar'ed if you wonder, i just read vnboards and yes i have been playing together with ppl radaring (also know several been banned for it).

about some NFD member's always talking bad about AoD, you did deserv abit of it. you did alway claim you never was in a zerg (i dont care if you didnt was in a zerg by purpose). but often both in OF and in NF there was several other grps around you.
yes you did run as a fg and i also meet you as a fg a prolly lost more then i won vs you in the grps i ran (was easier to win vs you in OF )
